We had a new roof installed. Acoma removed two layers of old roofing, replaced many pieces of roof sheathing that had rotted due to moisture. They completely re-nailed the good sheathing to bring it up to current codes. (It had been installed in 1983 with staples). They then re-roofed with a 30 year shingle. They offer a 10-year no questions asked full warranty on everything, plus the 30-year warranty on shingles. They also gave us a wind mitigation report to bring our insurance agent to reduce our homeowner's insurance. They removed all the old roofing, plywood and mess and left our yard so clean they even found a wing nut that we had lost in the grass!

They were very professional and quick. We were extremely happy with the service, I highly recommend Acoma Roofing. They have been in the business in our area since 1952 and are a very reputable company.

During the week of June 15, 2009, your company performed much needed and very serious repairs to my roof.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express what a pleasant experience your staff made this ordeal for me.

When Ryder O'Brien came out to give me an estimate of repairs needed and cost, he was very detailed in explaining to me exactly what needed to be done. We are originally from Ohio, and Ryder took the time to explain to me the difference in roofing in Florida versus what we were used to in the North, as well as educating me on the difference in materials (shingles, flat tile, rounded tile, and roofer grade vs. builder grade). As per my request, Ryder presented me with an estimate broken down by area so we could decide how much of the repairs we wanted to do at this time. I came away from this meeting a lot more knowledgeable and was able to easily explain all of this to my husband, who presently works in Ohio and didn't have the opportunity to speak with Ryder directly.

Every day that your crew was on site they informed me when they arrived, when they needed to leave during the day, and when they were leaving at the end of each day. Daily they cleaned/straightened up their work area and left no debris. When I would go out to talk to them about the worst area they took time to explain to me what they were finding and how they were repairing it. At all times they were extremely polite.

On Thursday, at the end of the job, there was an accident when a combustible can exploded and sprayed its contents all over the garage door and wood soffit and fascia (we had just painted the entire house 1-1/2 years ago). When they realized that the material would not wash off, they immediately came to me to discuss the damage. It turned out the substance had to be scraped off with sandpaper, thus requiring repainting of the door. After scraping, they washed the entire door, soffit and fascia and then painted after the areas were dry. On Friday, the crew has to do some paint work in one of the areas of the roof that had been repaired. When I showed them that the scrapings on the garage doors were showing through the paint they applied a second coat to the entire door. Both times they again completely cleaned up the area, including washing out the paint tins, brushes and rollers. I was completely satisfied with the results. But most importantly I was extremely pleased that they came to me with the problem rather than trying to cover it up.

Since the completion of the repairs we have had numerous major storms… and we are dry!
Not only are we pleased with the work, but we are extremely pleased with the customer service. I will gladly refer your company to anyone who asks if I know a good roofing company.
